anyone heard of?

Friend just turned me onto them, I guess they are an old
band, but shit "In Circles" is taking me to a different
place.

haven't heard something like this from a rock outfit in a
long while.

it's on soulseek should you care...!

btw, they are still around and kicking it, new CD on the
way? I think they broke up but got back together, dunno
really, last tour was in 2000, would that they'd come around
again.....

i like some of their music from the 3rd and 4th albums,
which are supposedly the "bad" ones but i prefer them to
their first two.

i think they broke up for good....?

yeah, I thought so too, but a website was update 10/14/02,
saying they were almost done with new album, so I think they
got back together, for at least one more album.

I have a friend who was/is hot into 'sunny day' but i also
heard they broke up, but maybe they are back together.. who
knows. I'm not really a fan, although some of their stuff
and emo in general is decent. I like emoelectronica better
:D

I listened to sunny day real estate maybe around 93..."in
circles" is a classic i think..that band had the greatest
vibe..way b4 their time unfortunately...but the drummer/bass
player went to Foo fighters, atleaast back then..maybe 96 or
so..i distinctly recall both the bass/drummer in a old Foo
video

it was the bass player / guitarist ? wasnt it?

dave growl drummed on the first foo fighter album, then
after that its that guy theyve still got now. the old alanis
morriset drummer.

I have the album "How It Feels To Be Something On" and it's
really good. I've been meaning to check out more stuff by
them but never got around to it. The song "Pillars" is
probably my favorite.

i think tits got it right, that some of them are getting
back together, riding the coatails of SDRE, but they are
actually the group called The Fire Theft.

but honestly, I have been listening to them nonstop since I
found them yesterday, and it is way before it's time, what a
shame I didn't find them earlier.
