I'm on a 4am wakeup now....gives me 4 hrs extra day...

My body only needs around 4hr sleep so this ain't gonna suit
everyone...

I blame this 1mbs link myself :)....

Weekdays between 6-7 for school depends if i need to do
homework or if i got a good night of sleep.. On weekends
anywhere from 6am-1pm

monday - 11am
tuesday - 8am
wednesday - 9-10am
thursday - 8am
friday - 11am

weekends no rhyme or reason to them really. tuesdays and
thursdays are near impossible ... i need my 8+ hours of
sleep .. need and want it :) (actually 10 is even better ..
after that it gets a bit silly).

So jand,

you honestly go on 4hrs of sleep a night/day whatever .. and
feel ok the next morning?

respect!

yep, totally non-chemically induced as well....

Dunno how I do it...just getting into the habit is the
key....used to greeet mornings with "oh No" & never wanted
to leave my bed in the morning...but now it's like 4am more
or less everyday, inc weekends....

rise @ 8am w/alarm, 9:15 on weekends without alarm.

I find similarities with jand. If I only get 4-5 hours of
sleep, then I am ok, REALLY, for the next day.

Now, if I get 8 hours, I don't wanna get up, yet if I get
like 10, I'm rolling.

dunno what that means, but in the end, 7 hours everyday
keeps me healthy. In bed @ 12, up @ 8ish.

8, sometimes at 7

I need 9 hours of sleep for feel good when waking up.

I read somewhere that in other ages people used to sleep
more than 9 hours daily, maybe because they haven't tv's,
computer's, etc at the time... and others say that is the
reason why those people had very long lifes.

Btw, good night.

"i'm = i"

longer lives eh? well .. if you sleep 8 hours a day, that's
a 1/3 of your life spent sleeping .. kinda weird to think
about it that way.

About 3 months now...

Like Blatent...if I get more then I simply don't wanna get
up....

You might have noticed I'm not on here as much nowdays
during the day...due to work, babbysitting etc...so I try
and fit sometime in during my early morning session....when
everyone is asleep...

yeah... i think tiredness is totally a state of mind.....
for me it changes all the time, but i went through one
period, when my friend convinced me that you didn't need
(much) sleep, of feeling really chirpy every morning, no
matter how little sleep i got.... not recently though...
But anyway, what do yous think??
Cos, even when you're asleep, you're still active, alive bla
bla.... 2 hours of meditation a day would be better than
most of the types of sleep the people have on this
messageboard???? maybe..

i need 7-8 hours sleep,
but i've noticed that sleeping 4 hours is actually better
than 6 hours for me. when sleeping 6 hours i walk around in
a zombie-state all day, but with 4 hours i get really
effective...

I have alarm ringing at 7am, then i keep violently shutting
the clock up till 7:30. I get up cursing and moaning and
then my girlfriend tell's me to shut the fuck up...don't
really wake up till i get a pot of coffee through my lungs.

yeah,... I set my alarm to whatever time,... and i will wake
up 3 minutes before it goes off

I used to work morning shift at coles supermarkets, 5:00
AM,.. I had to wake up at 2:30 walk down the uni dorm to the
showers, (10 minutes walk through the freezing cold) have a
shower and get dressed, (I have to shower when I first wake
up, or else I don't wake up)
3:15 by now,
pack my bag
3:30 by now
Ride my bike to work
(the trains here don't run until 6:00AM)
4:30 by now
use company showers and dress into my suit
4:45
Drink five truckloads of company subsidised coffee

then start work
5:15

I have to take my time this early in the morning

Strange, Jonesy and I were just discussing this...

I average about 7 hours, but I'm trying to reduce it as I
like my free time. Do you have any hints & tricks on how to
do it w/o feeling knackered all the time?

I get up about 7.00am most days...

good...good bed,pillow,undisturbed sleep and so on...makes
up the quantity...or not :) what do i know...

i have to get up at 7.00 only once or twice a week. for the
rest, it's mostly up to me (which results in getting up
between 11.00 and 15.00). I don't do regular hours because I
like to make music during the night - whilst job,
appointments etc. occur mostly during the day...

You shouldn't go posting stuff like that, all us young 'uns
will try copying you- teenagers need more sleep than adults
as they're growing. Sleep deprevation in teenage/childhood
years leads to stunted growth...

apparantly sleeping to the north increases your quality of
sleep,.. I know what you're thinking but they reckon it has
something to do with your bodies elctromagnetic field
(generated through the signals sent around the body) and the
rotation of the earth, I works for me, even if it's working
like a placebo, so I have no complaints
