imagine!

i like jools... he seem s fairly sincere to me. i'd love to
see him and/or john peel do a beard-stroking doc of
RDJ/Rephlex/Warp or braindance in general. I saw
"Modumations" and it wasn't enough. I want a bbc or ch4
warm, honest, look at the music we love.
Ya know what i mean?

I do indeed. That'd be great.

That'd be great. They could do a improv collaboration at the
end of the show too- rich knob twiddling on a synth holland
was doing the keyboard playing to :)

Hey Ceri, looking slightly like Mike D, only twice as
sinister.

Who's Mike D?
It's quite an old photo with weird lighting and pretty
blurry, but it's funny the way you can't see my eyes :) I
need to put up a more representative one of how I usually am
when I post here- combed hair and dressed smartly...

it'd be kinda funny to see our crazy, prankster, imp-like
braindancer artists arse around the beeb for an hour. They
would play the heaviest stuff ever just to destroy the
seriousness of it all!!!
sweet!

From the Beastie Boys? That's the only Mike D I can think
of.

Ahh, I see (thinks of his burnt out beastie boys
intergalactic 12" just waiting for decks)

That's the one. My favourite though would be Adrock.

Not many people know this but you can mix Staying Alive with
the Fatboy Slim mix of Body Movin' into Your The One That I
want from Grease. It sounds lovely.

Ha ha, I used to scratch the acapella intergalactic mix on
my hi-fi whilst the instrumental played on my cd player.
Managed to not only burn the record, but snap the belt too
:)

I think he means 'Modulations' which was a documentary on
electronic/IDMmish music.. I think. I haven't seen it
either.

i saw it available for order from the states once... couple
of hundred bloody dollars! Anyway, do a search in google.
It's an Electronic Music Documentry featuring Squarepusher,
photek etc. You see Tom playing with his toys.. real young
like!.. I saw it at a gig once on the big screen...
