it hurts really bad, half of my toe is really red... i'm soaking it in hot water and epsom salt. if it has to get amputated i'll update my avatar with a picture of it or something... i don't think it'll have to be amputated though. it hurts. |

no, it wierd. like i thought i had an ingrown toenail... and then i got toenail clippers and went at it pretty good... now part of my toe nail's missing. and thats where it hurts. |

My brother did that same thing, Nigel, and his toe is still messed up--he's been given medecine from the dermetologist. He has to soak his feet twice a day in vinegar. Looks just like that. |

roy, that looks JUST like my toe used to look for a year. it was badly infected. it was so sore and got to the point where i could hardly walk and i cried when my blanket swiped it. i suggest that you go to the doctor, you have an ingrown toenail that is badly infected. they'll numb the pain and pull it off. you should make sure that they make it so it doesn't grow back again. just a suggestion. |

seriously, haha my toe looked EXACTLY like yours! it's really tender when you touch it, right? well underneath your skin on the side there's prolly a big lump where there is toenail under it...that should go or it could lead to bigger problems |

Dont worry Nigel. I had the same problem. The best thing to do is forget about it. Just let it heal. Otherwise you'll be paying out the ass for a doctor to try and "fix" it. |

oh, i used to have an ingrown toenail never really went to the doctor and got anything done, just had him look at it i pulled the ingrown part out of the side of my toe all b y myself without numbing it ive gotten into the habit of cutting my toenails way too much. today about an hour ago, i was cutting them, and i slipping and cut open my toe. i abuse my toes. they hurt alot |
