you know it's more MTV shit when they hype it up by saying
"WITH STUFF YOU WON'T SEE ON TV!"

come on.........

i bet halfway through mtv won't be able to resist a series
of events that happen in most of these movies. lets count
them down shall we?

1) boy sees cute girl

2) cute girl is cheer leader

3) rude jokes and flirting

4) bed

5) both feeling really bad about what they did.

then the movie goes back to all the carnage.

WHAT?!

WHAT?!?

Who in their right mind would watch something that is seen
on TV every week (repeated ad infinitum)?

i used to think like you about the show, always thought it
was another stupid american/mtv show trying to earn good
ratings with stupidity. i dismissed the show as some kind
of tom green show wannabe.

when someone finally showed me an actual episode, i just
laughed my ass off. the things these guys do, it boggles
the mind!

btw, you can download episodes straight off kazaa.

i think the show is actually pretty funny, but i wouldn't
pay to watch essentially a two hour extended episode.
doesn't mean i won't see it though;)

I don't understand the appeal (or the humorous reaction) of
nonsense like Jackass...

I'll leave it at that...

at first, jackass was funny. them i realized that seeing a
bunch of grownups hurt or embarass themselves is not funny.

in the same way candid camera is not really funny.

so no, i do not expect the movia. but i mainly watch
cartoons only anyway.

I was going to see it but my friends didn't get me a ticket.
They got tickets early cause things like this sell out
really quick where I live. I called to see if they got me
one, they said no cause they tried calling and couldn't get
a answer at my house. I've been home 4 hours since I got
out of work and haven't heard them call. Though, I did get
other calls from other people....so now I'm just d/ling the
movie.

on tv i loved the peculiar one time
when a guy (steve O?) ate his vomit, after cooking it like a
pancake...
i couldnt believe it but the funniest part about it, is when
he eats all the ingredients really quickly, and he talks
about how great is to cook ur own pancakes !!!
btw i dont go to theater to see american
movies...so...hehe...fuck u jackass!
:D

offline CORTEX from Canada on 2002-10-26 23:27 [#00417959]

i finally saw it today. holy shit! i dont think i ever
laughed that much during a movie!

but it's not a movie for everyone, half the people didnt
laugh at all.

a definite highlight was when that guy took a dump in a
toilet in a store in front of everyone (a toilet you can
buy, not an actual functioning toilet in a bathroom).
hilarious!

I used to really like the show when it was just starting
out. They had some hilarious ideas for skits and were more
creative then.

I don't plan on seeing the movie in theaters. Maybe on dvd.

They have made some very correct choices regarding the music
in the jackass/cky genre. The band CKY is awesome and would
hardly be known if it wasn't for jackass.
