I never realized how great this song is! I just found it
after ages of not hearing it... the part where the DJ's
voice comes in is amazing, and an excellent use of
compression. Great track.

and great remix by senor coconut!

imo, 10000hz legend is so much better than moon safari,
although i love all the air stuff to pieces

I also enjoy 10,000 Hz legend, it has slowly and surely
grown on me (especially Radian!).

But Premiers Symptomes will always be my first love...

:)

Yeah, they have a very 80's sound, very unique.

"the way you look tonight", a track left over from 10,000hz
legend is a personal favourite of mine

they stuck it on the remix lp, so if you haven't already got
it, d/l it

Yeah, "Everybody Hertz", not particularly good...I got that
on sale for $4.99.

yeah Air are great :-)

virgin suicides is so cool too.

Compression on drums is a real french-electronica cliche
apparently.....

People find the most stupid excuses to not like a band...

:|

when really one doesn't need to offer an "excuse" :)

pretty cool .. haven't listened to it in ages, but yeah
10000 gave me an eerie sort of feeling also. I mean, just
look at the cover .. and somehow reminded me of drugmusic as
well ? dunno .. just a vibe thing

"People find the most stupid excuses to not like a band...
"

air has stated in interviews that their music is to be
listened to while taking drugs. anyband that says using
drugs makes the music the better is completely stupid.
music has nothing to do with taking drugs and if someone has
to take drugs to understand the music then that artist is
not getting my support. and i am not saying this without
hearing them. i have heard all their music and I do not
like their sound at all. the virgin suicides album isnt
that bad but the rest is truly awful. i respect all your
opinions on it but i dont embrace their viewpoint on music
or the music they make at all. like someone else said this
is the sort of music that gets mixed with,
sasha, digiweed,bt,daft punk. i dont even want to comment on
those guys.

you've completely made that up, arsewipe

" i have heard all their music and I do not
like their sound at all"

there we go - ^ that's your reason right there .. the whole
drug thing seems to be another matter (although perhaps
somewhat contingent)

did the interview say which drugs they recommended?

supposedly kid loco (probably anoher one of these urban
myths) writes music when stoned "other wise its so boring
staring at a computer screen" ... mmm..

"you've completely made that up, arsewipe"

why the hell would i make that up? your saying i go around
making this one thing about Air? id give you a link to it
but its from a magazine that came out about the time of
virgin suicides. someone at my school listens to air as well
and has a copy of the interview and he suggests doing drugs
to it too. i dont care if you dont believe me.

I read that interview too, Earthleakage.

...don't care about what they say.
I like air and especially 10000 hz legend.
(no one mentioned 'electronic performers' , The best song
from the whole album!! YàY!!)

If I have to start disliking bands/dj's/etc.. because of
what they say/do , I can better throw away my stereo.
For every artist you can find a reason to not listening to
their music.

"you've completely made that up, arsewipe"

whoops! probably a little heavy handed there, sorry

what i MEANT to say was i find that hard to believe they
actually came out with something that stupid, even if they
thought it was true

all music sounds better after a smoke, although i choose not
to partake in such matters nowadays. i think it sounds
mighty fine as it is

I agree with you supreme, im not saying you shouldnt listen
to bands on by what they say or do. I just dont like their
statement at all or their music for that matter, thats all.
i can see how other people would like it though, its just
not for me.
