FT has always been a pain in the ass to use. It used to fuck my tracks up when I switched formats. I need a tracker for Windows so I can manage everything nice and easy.

yeah, you should try it out. the only thing is that you can't save the files into .dss files, and the program "shuts" down after about 15 mins. or so.

refund: Buzz is the bomb, I use it almost everyday and I love it. It's very versatile if you get the hang of it, but then again, that's half the battle. I agree though, excellent program on the whole.

Look out, it can be horribly unstable on some machines. It's good though. I like the modularity of it. Another good similair program is audiomulch...

Some people claim it's never crashed on their machine, others, like myself, say it crashes out every half hour or so. I suppose that my PC is already unstable and the sort of music software that buzz is (modular, capable of generating "extreme" sound, high polophony etc.) both contribute...
Still, try it, you might be lucky on your machine!

It depends on the machines you use. Since anyone can create machines for it you get a lot of beta-ish devices which can crash. Be sure to get the latest versions. My favourite machine is the LarsHaKa rIDMa effect (under: effect/other effects/experimental/). If you like trackers like fasttracker look for a tracker called "renoise", it's great.

Yeah, I was reading up on machines again today. I think I'll re-download it and only use "final" machines...
