close to New York it sums up why I love living in a big
city.

I heard "obstacle 2" on a sampler with all kinds of stuff
and I had to get the whole album immediately.

the intensity just kind of smacked me in my face..

Ohhhh yeah, good choice... the Strokes get all the press,
but Interpol is New York's finest. Great great band.

ALL? Jesus, that would take all night! :-)

Get ''Is This It?'' by the Strokes. Good album, a bit
overrated though... it's not the ''savior of rock'' like
Rollingstone and some other idiot rags claim, but it's good
on its own terms.

Browse me on Soulseek, I'm revolverjgw

Since I got a new gigantic harddrive I've downloaded so many
albums, and ripped all my best CDs, so I've got quite a
lofty collection of ''bands''. I have the whole Strokes
album in there somewhere.

I ripped all my Beatles songs at 320kbs because they deserve
special attention. :-) Everything else tends to be 192, or
128 if it's not something I listen to all that much.

I listened to their albums a couple times. I couldn't get
past the whole thing about them sounding like Joy Division.
I'll probably check it out again sometime. Obstacle 1 and
Leif Erikson are good tunes that I remember.

"their album" I meant. 'Turn on the Bright Lights'
