Astrobotnia

At the following URL there's a review of the new
Astrobotnia release which wonders whether Astrobotnia is
Richard D. James in disguise:

http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/record-reviews/a/astrobotnia/
parts-1-2-3.shtml

Can you clued-in messageboard folks clarify who astrobotnia
really is?

Thanks,
Steve.

the whole "who is AS?" mystery is just a sly piss-take of
the whole BoC hype...

it is a possabitlity that is is a collaboration between say

U never know.....

I wish they'd tell us !!!!

OH FOR FUCK'S SAKE!!!!

There must be at least 50 threads on this subject! Give it a
rest. It's Ovuca. End of story!

Look you'll only REALLY know if you sat down beside the
composer of Astrobotnia while he was making the music and
witnessed every step of production right up to the delivery
of the record/cd to the shops!
How do you really know Aphex recorded all of I Care Because
You Do on his own? You don't REALLY know, do you? You're
just going by what people tell you.
Don't get me wrong I like a bit of the old guessing game.
But the Astrobotnia thing's getting tiring.

lol
'You're
just going by what people tell you.'

I'm not though, cus I am uncertain wether it is just Ovuca
or not, yet everyone else seems to be......

all I'm saying is it's a possability.....

+ ICBYD is Aphex cus it say APHEX TWIN on the front.....

quite simple really, as for Astrobotnia, IT DOESNT !!

there.

almost exactly the same to the Astrobotnia series, thats why
i think its Ovuca, im gonna buy that 77 track album he has
got in Warpmart, at some point

Don't know when it'll be finished. Maybe today, maybe next

yes, zeus, Ovuca plays all the astrobotnia but only on
laptop sets...

so if it was a collaberation U would only need one person to
play it...

so U see, there STILL is a possability it could be a
collabortation !!!!!!!

pt 1 starts off as the deep minded - lose yourself trax.

pt 2 takes it up a notch with the hardcore shit

pt 3 finishes with the all mighty deep ass "sit your punk
ass down and lose yourself" trax

did they really need 3 releases?? why not one solid full
CD, and then had a vinyl EP for fun.
they just played up the mystery anon. angle and got people
to buy two cds instead of one... of course if half the
people downloaded the mp3s it would even out i guess...

When someone on here said they sound like BoC and I'd only
heard the rephlex mp3s I thought there was no way it could
be them. However, now I have all 3 records and have given
them a listen I can see why someone would of thought
that...

I don't even have a guess at who it could be, but I like the
release anyway :)

Astrobotnia is Ovuca at 95%, anyway there's a 5% of mistery
in this release.

Point1: Why, rephlex made so much propaganda for a new
Ovuca's release?
Why didn't they make the same propaganda for Wasted Sunday
release?

Point2: Why the choose an Ovuca release for create this
Astrobotnia mistery?
I mean... they could make the same commercial operation with
the next B.Raczynski or Cylob release... they invent a new
misterious alias, a lot of propaganda... all ppl think it
could be AFX, and rephlex sell a lot of discs.

Point3: Not all tracks seems Ovuca style for my ears
(especially some track of pt.2)

mhm... definitely I think Astrobotnia is Ovuca, but
everything isn't so clear for me.

PLUS REPHLEX HATE BORED of C!!!
