Did anyone see that annoucement at WARP whilst XLT was sleeping, about Aphex playing a gig in Japan... "Aphex twin will play in Japan on Saturday 28th September as part of the 'Its a Beautiful Day' event. 28th(sat): APHEX TWIN, DJ EYE (DJ STAGE), ROVO, PE'Z" ... The news item dissapeared from WARP...and doesn't seem to be there now...altho you can look at it via ... Anyone know anything about it?...far east monkey, anything on the linked website you can translate for us?... |

I heard that went ahead but cant find anything in English or Japanese about it. It was a pretty small event, but I think it was in the same location as much bigger Fuji Rock Fest (which he also played a couple of years ago I think) Which reminds me; I have an amusing interview with Richard from the Japanese magazine "Snoozer" after Druks - not sure if that is in the archives here or not - if anyone is interested in reading it I could probably upload it somewhere... Maybe you have all seen it before. |
