I'm.... underwhelmed. If 'Sea Change' were a meal, it would consist solely of unbuttered potatoes and warm water. Bleh. I haven't heard anything so sterile in all my life. Imagine 'Mutations' drained of what little color it had and you get 'Sea Change'. Any other opinions? |

Sea Change is Beck's best album. "Lonesome Tears" and "Lost Cause" are amazing. I think this album's gonna go down in history. |

at least Beck tries something new each time... people grow older, they can't or should not just try to make the same record over and over... and Beck has been around almost a decade now... if he tried to make another Odelay, people would bitch how he sucks trying to repeat himself and how its not as good... do you want to be like the average people in their 30s and 40s who listen to the same exact thing over and over without even trying to discover new music i can never understand why everything has to either (1) be great, amazing... or...(2)totally suck why is there no middle ground?!? people talking about Beck ... this record is fucking great, while this record is total shit... then the next person comes along and sezs the EXACT opposite! |
