got my shirts from warp (plaid, squarepusher, old warp
logo, new warp logo)

and got some []p stickers too

AND

for my MIDI systems class, we have to take a song, and
rearrange it, and do an electronic version

he said "i want it to be electronica"

I WAS SO SUPRISED

im used to teachers say "make it jazz" or some shit

im so happy

now i just have to think what i want to do.

we have to have the original score though...

im thinking something by cage/glass?

so... anyone know where i can get some recordings of
cage/glass? i have non unfortunatly...

and sites or anyone got mp3s?

"Mindwalk Theme" - Philip Glass... unfortunately I deleted
that song from my mp3 collection before I fdisked my
computer... I'd otherwise help you out on that one... it's a
great song... I think it's by Glass... has a cool trumpet
line that would turn into a great dark synth line :)

i think im gonna do a sonato for prepared piano by cage

i got a book of the scores from the library, and i have the
cd (we have to have the original recording to compare)

that sounds like it will be really fun zues! best wishes on
the project! I love Cage, especially his piece done by old
am radios. I do that one all the time my self. I dont know
if it was him, but, there was a fellow that wrote a music
scale (bass and treble staffs) on a aquarium and assigned
each player to play where ever the fish went in the scale.
Of course there was a fish that was sleeping... so it was a
droning tone threwout the piece..... really neat stuff. Was
that Cage? I think so....
