www.warprecords.com 30.09.02 PLAID: LIVE AT NUMERO FESTIVAL IN PORTUGAL ON 18TH OCTOBER The Plaid live experience, Warp DJs and a healthy does of Warp films are planned as part of Portugal's Numero Festival in Lisbon, which runs from October 17th -> 21st. This will be Numero's third attempt to convert Portugal's capital to the joys of electronic music. The first year had Aphex Twin, Russell Haswell, Pansonic and People Like Us. After the president of Portugal had been down to meet the artists on the opening evening, a huge rain storm ensued which resulted in a river flowing across the dancefloor of the purpose built event space in the centre of Lisbon. This year new venues have been sourced and Carl Craig & Gonzalez join the line up along with local bands and DJs. i've never been to an electronica/IDM concert, closest thing was probably Goldie or Röyksopp last year....it sucks being here. |
