yes siree I am the fucking daddy the fucking font of
wisdom....for the next 30 days

before you hurl the various decayed matter at me..hear me
out..

I got from our local library..the
AMG All Music Guide to Electronica..in paperback the whole
688 pages worth of it..and it is the fucking bible to all
that happened before 2001...so yeah I am a flawed
fountain..but..anything you wanna know..is at my fingertips
and shuffle of pages..for the next 30 days...

Flea dude, give us a hint about what to ask! I have never
even heard of this book (tho I imagine it's related to
allmusic.com) -- so give out some random facts to get the
ball rolling!

:)

if it's anything like the allmusic.com website, it'll be
pointless. it's all written from an american perspective,
i.e. it basically keeps suggesting that the key artists in
the formation of electronica were american artists.

which, frankly, is total rubbish.

bird, Xtiaan..got it off the good ole central library on
Lorne St.

and yes it is the print version of
http://www.allmusic.com..which I find to be the most
comprehensive and deep linked site....ever..hence my
excitement...

and core hate to break it to you but the ellectronica you do
see now does have certain elements of origin in America in
these two cities called Detroit and Chicago..I am sure you
are familiar with them and their legacy
