Squarepusher's new album

Hi,
As a massive fan of Squarepusher's Go Plastic album, I was
wondering what his new album is like...is it akin to his
odd, jazzy side (which I'm not too keen on for some reason)
or is it like Go Plastic?
I think it's called Do You Know Squarepusher....

I was listening to it today...it's not bad, but it's not a
classic.

It's good but as ecnadniarb says it's not a classic.

So is it not as good as Go Plastic then? :(

I only really like Anstromm Feck 4, which is pretty good but
nothing special or too fresh... and of course what USED to
be Untitled, that track is amazing... the rest just doesn't
click with me. And his cover of Love Will Tear Us Apart
seems pointless... :-/ He ain't no Ian Curtis!

fuck them, it's great :) if you like go plastic, it's a
continuation of that (although some of the songs aren't on
the same level of quality as those on the last album) with
new elements such as emceeing (wanna hear tom rap? i'm not
kidding) and musique concrete (which i'm assuming most of
the ppl on this thread don't know much about). it's a great
mini-album (far better than the two in 1999) and with a
bonus live disc how can you lose?

I'm with tits on this. Squarepusher's style becomes more
abstract and strange with each release..

i think there's little effort in it, as, as far as i know,
this was his contract breaker to get out of warp and on to
rephlex. rdj talks about how much he hates warp because he
feels like he's carrying the shitty groups on it in this one
interview... it's on watmm some where...

i'm not singling you out; i've noticed people making this
point many times before - what makes you all so knowledgable
of RDJ's and tom's contracts with warp?

Do you have a link to this interview? I'd like to read it.
