Amorphous Androgynous are actually a FSOL alias.

It's good, FSOL resease their recycled material under that
alias. That could be a positive thing because they can do
more challanging things that way

I don't care for the isness really, but Tales of Ephidrena
was tight.

the ISNESS..is listed under amorphous androgynous all over
slsk..does anybody have any news about that?..was it
originally supposed to be an amorphos androgynous album?

well, as it has been discussed in many past threads, I, (and
others) think that the isness is the perfect, and most logic
step for them to take

its hard to handle... but if you look deep, its perfect

lord i was listening to it today

the isness should be listened to with out trying to compare
it with any FSOl or AA previous albums
the isness is just IS

by the way zeus
is that your pic?
i thought you were cuter than that

I know I read the other threads and posted to em too..so
dont assume Zeus..what I am saying is that it would have
been better left off as the side project...

and I totally disagree that it's the next logical step for
FSOL...

Strange thing it that I liked it on the first listen..but
the more I listen to it..the shallower and depthless..it
comes off...the whinning pseudo Bowie Mr Spaceman
nonsense..sounding more and more like the South Park 70's
Psychedelic rock tribute

what did i assume? just said we already talked about it

and im compleytly oppostite... first listen i was like eh,
but each listen its better

and i can see the US release is on Hypnotic..ugh..the
subsidary of Cleopetra double ugh...the K-Tel clearing house
of "Alternative" music...the instigators of
countless..deplorable tribute albums...yes I can see how the
sleazy marketing dept of Cleopetra could have insisted that
it be released as FSOL Stateside to ensure more sales...

you either like it or you don't.... i like it quite a lot
and it doesn't seem depthless or forced to me at all. sounds
great. looking forward to their next album, which is
supposed to be released under the FSOL name worldwide (well,
after the remix album of the isness).

as i said
it is just IS..The ISNESS is just is
do not compare it to any previous thing the guys have done
read on their site why they did this album and you would
understand

Yeah, I read that too....but I have a feeling that this
"new" sound will only be with AA. I mean just look at the
Papua New Guinea Translations. It was brand new FSOL
material, but with their old sound, which I love.

I believe that they will just leave their seperate styles
apart.

i heard a great song by amorphous, it was on a psy trance
collection. it was all odd buzzing sound and it really
wasn't psy trance at all. could this have something to do
with this? i only had the collection as mp3 so the file
name could have been wrong. i never found any info on the
artist.

rumours say that a kind of remix album with tracks from The
Issness will be released under the name FSOL later this
year.

Check this out:
fsnet

Sounds to me as if it could turn out a lot better than the
Isness...
