Does anyone here listen Tool? Now thats some real music, if
you ask me, it's the best band in the Whole wide world. (I
know this is an Aphex Twin site, but i'm just asking.)

Tool are my only favourite metal band. I haven't listened to
them for a while, but they still own. I think i killed all
their songs. Like i'm about to do to Aphex :(

I listen to them. Some of their songs are excellent, but I
think their albums contains too much fillers, and bullshit.
What is that "Aya con Satan" (or whatever) anyway?

bullshit, I think...

he's talking about "die eier von satan", the german track on
aenima. i love that song. the interludes are great.

netlon, i have to disagree with you. they are still
developing their sound and you can hear it on lateralus. you
may not like the direction they're going in necessarily, and
i do prefer aenima to lateralus myself, but they are
ever-changing.

only the last 2 or 3 songs were headed in a different
direction (ambientish/industrial, so not really innovating).
the rest of the songs are a perfection of aenima tracks, IMO
:)

die eier von satan is a recipe for space cake in german, btw

Nice 2 know that someone understands Tool. It sure is an
awesome band. I don't call it music, i call it art.

And Mortsto-x, of course there must be that thing you call
"Bullshit" in the album. Tool albums are supposed to listen
from beginning to the end, without skipping tracks. They are
like books, you know. It sounds more better when you listen
it from the beginning to the end.

Tool are good yeah, they aproach their song writing in a
totally different way, which is awesome, I dig the
structures of the their songs, not keeping to the simple
formula like most metal bands.

Maynard has an awesome voice too.

Oooohhh yeah, this is a great band. I remember being into
all the popular alt-rock bands back that were big before
teen pop really took over, and Tool was just about the only
one that I ignored.

And there's absolutely no fucking reason why I did, I can't
figure it out... perplexing. But I fixed my fuck up and got
into them a few months ago, and do I ever regret not doing
it earlier. Fuck. One of my top 10 artists/bands ever now,
for sure.

Tool is one of the most influencial bands that began in the
90's and has still made it through to today. No band comes
close to competing with their style and sound IMO.

Also.. I'd just like to point out that the track on Ænima,
Die Eier Von Satan is not a recipie for 'space cake' its
actually for hash cookies without eggs.

Die Eier Von Satan lyrics... now get baking.

Aenima is their best album yay for Tool.

Here are the lyrics for Die Eier Von
Satan..

The Eggs/Balls of Satan

Half a cup of powdered sugar
One quarter teaspoo salt
One knifetip Turkish hash
Half a pound butter
One teaspoon vanilla-sugar
Half a pound flour
150 g ground nuts
A little extra powdered sugar
... and no eggs

Place in a bowl
Add butter
Add the ground nuts and
Knead the dough

Form eyeball-size pieces from the dough
Roll in the powdered sugar
and say the Magic Words:
"Sim sala bim bamba sala do saladim"

Place on a greased baking pan and
Bake at 200 degrees for 15 minutes
...AND NO EGGS

Bake at 200 degrees for 15 minutes
...and no eggs.
