...do you want to see on Richard's next release? You can
explain what type of text, colours etc. that you would like
to see on his next album if you want or whatever. Thanks!

I'd love pictures of old buildings, abandoned
warehouses/other places, deserts, depressing lonely places,
empty spaces, rusting cars in fields and so forth. Think it
would work well from an ambient release. The text would be
minimal. And I'd like this photos to be included in a
booklet, not just the cover and whatnot.

And think it would be cool to release a CD with no inlays at
all, like AB3 except in one of those clear jewel album
cases. Kind of like 2 Remixes, but an album. And just have
the album titled on the CD.

Wish he'd get back with Dan Parkes and continue with style
found on the ON & On remix EPs...(& Ventolin, altho I
preffered ON...)..

But AFXs artwork, however good, doesn't come close to
AEs...get a collection of AE CD sitting together and they
look smart, like a cohesive whole... can't say that for the
almost schitzo(sp?) AFX designs...

hey, thanks for your responses, people, I didn't expect this
amount of opinions!

Anyway, you know what I'd like to see? One of those hidden
3D image pictures, and in the hidden image is a picture of
Rich sitting at his computer and equipment. That would be
cool!

Rich would have to write to that 3D magic company, though.
It takes a lot of time and effort to create those pics. They
end up looking so cool though, and when you can see it, you
feel real proud of yourself!

more stuff by Dan Parkes on Aphex releases.

Thats a great idea toejam!!

titsworth, what do you mean, by the end of this year?

I wouldn't care what his next released contained music-wise,
because I know it will be fucking amazing just like the rest
of his songs.

I also agree with qrter, no more smiles. I think they've had
their fun in the sun, its time for something new and
original.

i promised myself i wouldn't post about it here (on the
board), so i can't be specific. it's not new music tho
(well, unless he throws in some new stuff), but it is a new
release and it should be out before 2003.

a hot ass chick, licking RDJ's face & other parts... w/this
'glitchy' type camera shot on the girl (you can't really
depict what the girl is doing to him)... giving him the time
of his life... and then Rich is smiling at the camera with
that oh so famous grin... hehehehe!

it would be titled "Gene Pool Experiments Vol. I"

and in the back sleeve, would be a PANORAMIC of his
bedroom/studio ! :)

I wonder, will any of these ideas about the next one change
now that we know the next release won't be all original
material, but remixes (new & old). I'd pick something new I
think, altho I had no idea's before hearing the good news. I
still dont, now I think about it.

Heh heh heh

offline Spikee Dragon from Newcastle (United Kingdom) on 2002-08-09 08:05 [#00342660]

Yeah, I just wanna see him doing something boring this time
like just standing there with a tab not even looking at the
cam. Mowing the lawn would be cool too, just doing it with
nothing special, making toast or something maybe?

offline Toejam from Perth (Australia) on 2002-10-03 01:17 [#00390920]

Nah, you know what would be cool?

A big wide shot of beautiful Cornwall taken from the top of
a hill or something. In the top corner will be Aphex Twin
and the album name written in an orangey-red type colour in
easy-to-read text.

A really crazy looking ''biological machine''... gears made
of bone, a heart is the power supply, limbs and gross stuff
used as various components, large arteries acting as
''pipes'', in which blood is transported out of the ''bio
machine'', a brain in the center controlling all the
actions, and Richard off to one side playing some sick
keyboard with keys made of teeth or something.

I'm sure we could fit a dick in there somewhere, but good
luck getting it past the censors.

listen to that :
RDJ with his grin but the face covered with black dust, and
licking it, we dont know what he's doing, until he get back
a giant truck to take a deep breathe at the fine pollution.
after that, he write the name of the single on his white
tooth smiling !
