i've had diarrhea now for about 5 days straight... i have
lost 16lbs in the last month... i think something in the
water has messed up my intestines... or the gig i had where
the subwoofer was right behind me, blaring out all the bass
onto my stomach :(

barbeque doesn't help either :(

I would go to the doctor anyway. I am 6'4" and I am twice
your weight...I am a kickboxer and fighting fit so to be
half the weight with only 3 inches difference in height
sounds a major problem.

long requires medical attention.

It sounds to me like Gerardia, AKA "Beaver Fever." It's a
bacterial infection that causes chronic diorreaha (sp?) for
as long as six months, but that's rare. DEFINETELY GO TO
THE DOCTOR - seriously. You get Gerardia usually from
swimming in/drinking from natural bodies of water, usually
where beavers are present (they're a carrier, but they
aren't *necessary* for a pond/lake to be infected). It
isn't food poisoning, because that rarely lasts more than a
day or two, and it likely isn't a standard viral
gastro-intestinal infection because those pass quicky as
well. It could also by Typhoid or Cholera... again usually
from exposure to unpurified water. All these ailments are
easily treated with medication, but if left untreated, can
be VERY dangerous.

****SUPER-IMPORTANT**** - drink LOTS of clear fluids -
water, apple juice, or GATORADE (which would be best, becase
it has electrolytes) or whatever, in order to stay hydrated.
Be sure to eat some salty stuff, too (it doesn't take much)
- water alone won't hydrate you. When people die or become
seriously ill from dioreaha, it's because they're dehydrated
- the lower intestine is there to reclaim water from that
nasty pudding and turn it into healthy chunks of
conventional crap, in the process providing as much as 3/4
your body's total supply of water. When you have dioreaha,
this doesn't happen, and it's very easy to become
dangerously dehydrated. Keep an eye out for diminished
hearing or a ringing in the ears, swollen tongue, sudden
fatigue, and "doughy" skin (like if you pinch your arm a
bit, the skin will hold the shape for a second). These are
signs of serious dehydration.

GO TO THE DOCTOR.

Oh, and eat some yogurt - it'll help a lot. It naturally
contains the acidophilus that was mentioned above (it's a
bacterium that we naturaly depend on that lives
symbiotically in our intestinal tract). It also contains
lots of other stuffs that are very good for your intestines.

Slap a cork in ya arse....hop in the car (sit on a dust-bin
lid if needs be to catch any 'accidents') and go to the
docs.....If ya dont, you'll likely end up sitting in a pool
of yur own shite, sweat and intestines!

You have to be careful not to dehydrate!!!! You should see a
doctor. Go to one or let one come over to your house 'cause
this isn't healthy.

btw: it's spelled "diarrhoea"
