okay, I used to think that if Star Trek could sell TNG to
syndication, what's happening to Dr. Who? I figured if I
could produce it, I'd get Rowan Atkinson behind the wheel,
and have various artists interpreting the theme song for
each episode (and then release that album)

Now I find out that Rowna Atkinson has ALREADY played the
Dr.! As well as Richard E Grant! And Jim Broadbent! and
unfortunatelt Hugh Grant as well...

Dr. Who: The Curse of Fatal Death is out there somewhere in
the UK, with Jonathan Price as the Master, too.

Has anyone seen this? Has it hit North America?

Was the theme any good....

was it...funny?

What?! Rowan as the Doctor!
I feel ashamed that I can't recall his name right now, but
the Dr. with the afro was the BEST!

Rowan was a twat as the Doctor.

Being a huge Dr. Who fan, I think Paul McGann should
continue to be the eighth Doctor, and they really should try
to restart the TV series, like they did in America.

hehe it was great! he played the doctor in a one-off comic
releif special....it was only about 10 mins long....'the
master' was there too....at the end the dr was killed and
the new doctor came...joanna lumley! (if i remember
right)....i cant really remember the story, but it invovled
the master using a time maching, the dr pushed him in a
well, he took 100 years to climb out, used the time machine
to go back in time to kill the dr, and he pushed the master
back in the well again!

Yeah, it ended with Dr Who getting killed every 2 seconds
and being replaced by multiple british actors, ending with
Joanna Lumley :D
