...kicked fucking ASS! so good! The score was great too. It was excellently film, and excellently acted. I wouldnt be suprised if it got best picture... but it would be wierd... seeing as this is only the guys second film... the first one being American Beuaty... which won an oscar :) |

tom hanks is very talented. Especially Forrest Gump, that was a fucking amazing roll he portrayed. I dunno if I am going to see this in theaters, but yes, most reviews say it's Oscar worthy. |

I loved him in Forest Gump... he was excellent in that... I haven't sat down and watched all of Philidelphia yet though, and his performance was good in Apollo 13... he's not my fav actor, but I think he's a good one... |

Great movie, just watched it! Technically amazing, the atmosphere was so uninviting and cold and wet, GOD DAMN it had a great, dark tone. Great acting... Hanks is great no matter what any sour puss says, Paul Newman is Paul Newman, and Jude Law is never less than great. Weird, though... the movie lacked something, can't put my finger on it... I'm a bit of a pussy, I get moist eyes during movies a LOT, and it never came close to happening on this film, and it was obviously MEANT to stir up that kind of emotion, but it never did... I thought the characters and story were both great, but I dunno... Fucking violent, the death count is more than a Friday the 13th movie... *** out of ****, for me. |

yep i agree it was a great movie...Jude Law's character really made the movie for me..making something like the mass gun down at the end into sheer visual poetry was an achievement that makes John Woo look like the hack he has become since going to Hollywood |

I liked Tom in Castaway....that was a great movie. Tols I think you're thinking of Turner and Hootch...that was great. WHAT ABOUT SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE!? that was really good :) i did see you got mail...sounds like an AOL horror story... *deep sinister voice* YOU'VE GOT MAAAIILLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
