Anyone heard this new album by Múm yet? I bought it
yesterday, it seems Fat Cat told them to have some more
melodies in the tracks, but it still is a very very cool
album from the 1st listen...

I'm going to see Múm live on Monday in Offenbach (5 km away
from Frankfurt).
Really lookin' forward to it :)

"Yesterday..." is the masterpiece anyway :)

my mate - who hates all Ae, AFX, BOC, SQP simply because i
like them - keeps telling me to listen to that mum album,
but i tell him to fuck off because he's a pretentious git.

He calls all the Warp stuff 'electronic crap' and then goes
and buys that mum album, just to be a elitist fuck, and show
that he has more ecclectic taste than me (which he dosen't).

...and you call him your mate?

I hope he has also a positive side.

yeah...i got 'finally..' a few weeks ago...and listened to
it constantly for the first two weeks i had it...i still
think 'we have a map of the piano' has to be one of the most
beautiful songs ive ever heard..
i also got 'please smile my noise bleed' last week...which
is quite good also...though i havent listened to the whole
thing yet...
i'd really like to get 'yesterday was dramatic...' but i can
only find it on vinyl...and my turntable needs to be
fixed..

is the 'mum remixed' album any good? it has two µ-ziq
remixes on it..

speak of the devil..went to the shop today...and stumbled
across a newly added mum section...and lo and behold...they
had 'yesterday was dramatic..' for $19...but so far it seems
worth it...

its weird because i went there last week looking for this
cd...and they didnt even have a little card for them...

Y'all should check it out, if you like stuff by BoC,
Autechre or Sigur Rós.

to get anything other than finally we are no one in any of
the shitty music shops where i live.
i also have no money and loads of other albums i wanna get.
ah bum.
