I think it's about time I delve into Global Goon's work.

So... just name your favorite tracks by this guy (that Kara
once fucked), and I'll see if I like them. Thanks much.

Stan's Slaves
Jerky Dharma
Long Whiney
Sloe Intro
ALL OF THE REST

Can't think of a song by him I don't like at all. I wish it
wasn't so hard to find his first 2 CD's, but I have them
burned.
His new one = 15/10 for sure.

Doesn't matter though, anyone that does plays at 18+ shows,

BT is coming in a few weeks or something, bu that doesnt
matter.....

Yeah I just hit the big 1-8 the day before yesterday? And
guess what my bro´s getting me for that special year? A
plane ticket to the U.K. and tickets to see mu-ziq, vsnares,
global goon, astrobotnia, brothomstates, a shitload more,
and a shitload of hip hop...

what a good guy he is, although he gets to go too, of
course!

I'm almost crying. My brother's gonna be 18 in about a
week, I wish I could get us tickets for that. I know he'd
love to go, and he'd take me for sure! Lucky guy :-P
Although I've never heard Brothomstates, if they're talked
about on here, they gotta be alright.

Long, long, story.

Actually it's not.

A user named Kara said she fucked you. She also said she
lived with Aphex for quite some time.

That's it.

I should smack you. But since it's through the internet,
it's impossible. Global Goon has the best melodies I've
ever heard. His beats are smooth and flowing alongside the
music; I can't describe it. Go buy Vatican Nitez now.

i have it. but...
i like it and appreciate its qualities...
but...its nothing new, nothing exploding...its like old
aphex songs...saw 1...and this...
but, dont worry, diao, im always wrong, i will give it a
second chance.
arent the hard to get albums the best ones?

hmm i havent listened to vatican nitez in forever

kreem ballet and businessman stick out in my memory for
their greatness though

vatican nitez was one of those cds i listened to constantly
for about a month.. and then stopped because i listened to
it too much and got sick of it.. so now.. it reminds me of
that specific time i listened to it in... sort of makes me
nostalgic for last march

i should really check out his stuff, he seems to be one of
the better rephlex artists.. i'm not a fan of some of the
goofier music, but then again, overly serious stuff like
autechre sometimes makes me laugh, so perhaps "the goon" is
a good fit

yes.. its not goofy.. or overly serious..
i guess you could say its light-hearted...but still sincere

dunno .. i think some of the goofy-ness is quite
intoxicating - like that synth riff line thing on jazz
intro

the whole of cradle of history (on vinyl w/ the two extra
tracks) - amazing album start to stutter

i was let down by vatican nitez - too short - and it sounded
like remixes of cradle of history - same samples and same
beats on some tracks

however scott cronce is ceo - is beautiful

ps - would of liked to have had it on black vinly AND
picture disc - pic disc is hard to backspin and scratch -
and finding the grooves is rough at points

but it still blings

goon is wicked, i got all his old stuff off audio galaxy
back in the day--its alot more experimental than his new
stuff, but the newest album never ceases to amaze my friends
when i play it to them. goon's health music rocks
