Haven't heard the song 'rise'.

I do however have his Public Energy No.1 and A Shocking
Hobby - both very very good albums ..

A Shocking Hobby imho is quite exceptional, very heavy,
dirty broken up beats .. Most of his stuff seems very beat
driven, tho i have heard some of his earlier stuff which is
actually surprisingly melodic.

Stereotypical song/s? Pure Energy [Public Energy #1], and ..
mmhh.. Borax? [Shocking Hobby] .. dunno - that's a toughy ..

try earlier work >

"G-SPOT" is very good... look it up on amazon

1 particular track near the end of side 1 (I think it may be
called "Treatments") is very melodic and quite beautiful,
one of my favourite tracks ever, including aphex .

I am trying to get this also, and you never know it may also
contain what U R looking for :)

I second both korben and smokehammer though G-Spot is vastly
different from Public Energy and A Shocking Hobby ..it's in
the FSOL and B12 terrain, nice and Epic sounding IDMThe
closest I can come to describing A Shocking Hobby is
Autechre on Steroids

for some reason, i put off buying a shocking hobby for
years..always saw it in the store and though 'hmm i have to
get that some time...maybe next week' and now.. i go to buy
it and its never there anymore...

public energy nr 1 and a shocking hobby are so futuristic
and great :) ginger on the other hand is on the 'softer'
side of his stuff. his bamgbang techno sets kick ass too,
but kreck was still a bit of a dissapointment - it just does
not work well on a record. i've never heard g-spot though :(
but i do hearthly recommend at least those albums <3

neetta medal

Pullover...now that's a nice slow techno track one of the
first or the first gabba track as far as i know. A shocking
hobby is a pretty dark record a little similar to some
Autechre tracks a little lese dense and not as glitchy.

You should check out G-Spot neetta. It's definitely a softer
move on from Ginger, and my preferred of the two. I think
you'd like it.

i've just ordered shocking hobby and loudboxer!

is it worth buying g-spot as i already have "live"?
they're meant to be pretty similar...
