I have come to the conclusion that one must step away from all "social" media. I no longer have Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn (LinkedIn's just for Indians to make shit up, right?) and I've let my subscription to The Spectator slide because, whilst I genuinely enjoy their Arts coverage and opinions pieces, I do get wound up. And this is not healthy. There is no benefit, no gain. For the Discord I'd suggest you have a blanket ban on Politics, don't even have a separate Channel for Politics. I would keep it strictly Aphex, that sort of music and nonsense. If you want to keep prodding someone, knowing you'll get a reaction, about Colonialism, do it elsewhere. If you want to do deep dives into Marxism, do it elsewhere. Big or that French pervert talking about anything, let them do it elsewhere. |
