When Roger Ebert was first sidelined with cancer (woulda
been around 2006) and David Lynch's Inland Empire came out,
I sent him an email. Some other douchebag wrote the review
for Inland Empire on rogerebert.com.

I said "Hey Roger hope you're doing well. I'm just writing
in hopes that you eventually review David Lynch's Inland
Empire, as past reviews have been somewhat contentious and
would love to hear your thoughts."

He replied:
"will do so. cheers."

NOW THATS A FUCKING LEGEND.

(he never reviewed it and died 10 years later without a
jaw)
