i used to fantasise about something exactly like facebook when I was 14, when i had a psion series 3a... talk 2 all your friends in your pocket, 24/7 tiny dumbphone + proud of it (oh, and a Planet Computing Gemini [psion series 5 kybd] , running Debian :)) |

i still use a 10 year old sansa clip+ for music on the go. oled screen, micro sd slot. in theory you can use 32gb cards, but it takes ages to "refresh" when you turn it on, so i just use an 8gb card, the internal memory is 8gb as well so 16gb. there's one good use for smartphones and thats if youre travelling. i couldn't imagine what a pain in the ass that would have been before smartphones [terence mckenna lost in prague]. |
