i used to listen to gybe, mogwai, slint and all that kind of stuff when i was 15... early unreleased gybe and boc i would have been keen to hear back then. might check it out |

he said it was recorded in a tiny closet place,big mess of cables/effects+ whatnot tiny flat in Montreal, early 90s, no money "a goodbye" Efrin did a liccle podcast, he told a story about his friend who'd moved in, was heavily pregnant planting corn in the stony garden, in stupid heat, like she'd gone mad - nothing would grow there.... years later he took a walk past same place and there was fucking corn growing there.. |

what i thought was 'interesting and relevant' to here apart from musick angle is that although there were 'only' 33 copies of this, it hasn't been rippeduploaded in almost 30 years... pretty much like Caustic Window LP cos there are others of those too - but pppl just didnt know what they were, presumably |

also, some tracks on there clearly do sound like later GYBE, chord wise etc, which leaks how much of an influence he had/has over the group and perhaps undermines the big-ole-happy-anarchist-jamband narrative of them,... maybe. |
