if someone had given this to me as a young child, my parents
would have taken it away after, at most, a day and a half,
simply so they could get some sleep.

kind of like when i took the set of old keys grandma gave
me, wedged them into the lightswitch, and then turned it on.
i got everything i wanted out of it: there was a firecracker
spurt of sparks, and the entire house went dark. i suffered
absolutely no injury; the whole incident had the air of
puffing up a brown paper lunchbag and then popping it. even
at, i think, four years old, i knew i was in the shit on
that one. i very deliberately went to sleep with the keys on
my person so they could not be confiscated. however, when i
woke up, they were gone

and the moment i knew i wanted to do, like, something
with, i dunno... sound... was when i discovered reverb out
back of the elementary school at 6 or 8 years old or so.
someone had showed me how you can take an empty juice box,
puff it up full of air, then, jump and stomp on it, and it
makes a wicked pow. and i quite appreciated this, to the
point, where, hey, there are some juice boxes in the trash
there, let's make them go pow. and i go out back of the
school and start blowing them up and then i notice the sound
traveling across the giant concrete area, hitting the trees
and some playground equipment, and coming back. and then
next juicebox it was like i could just see it washing in and
out as if i could see sound and shit i'm hooked

been banned from messing with the househould springy
doorstops so many times. not just by my parents, or
relatives, but also my friend's parents, friend's relatives

yeah i see what you mean i think so anyway!

I just woke up i was having this phrase of saying something
repeatedly in my head, until i was waking up and it was
morphing into my girlfriend snoring rhymical, very very
bizarre but quite cool. Obviously my dream state had some
sort of sensory access to the outside world

Don't generally remember my dreams unless something is
serious, but the casual bits I remember are the last bits
before I wake up and it'll be this long epic thing I am
going to be late for work and I have to take a water ferry
and then some 1800s train then my alarm is going off. When I
smoked more zigs, I'm eating a bowl of cereal and it turns
into tobacco and I wake up and have cereal then a smoke. Etc
etc
