the warp set quite often title stuff with (presumably) what
version they were working on, draft 7.30 etc

being 'creative' is like making a big TREE of possible
versions of things, anyone can generate variations on stuff,
it is up to the person making the thing to plot a path from
root to leaf on the tree of possibilities... god im a hippy

parallel versions of shit are so so tempting but at the end
of the day do u really want to hear an LP of 12 different
versions of the same thing .. ha or perhaps ppl do! perhaps
that what an LP is anyway, root impulse.

i think Afx said something about printing Fx to samples and
being done with it - like "there you are it's done" -that to
me is such a bonkers way of thinking that it's like oblique
strategies or summat.... i want to be able to change every
single thing at any point and i guess that comes from
growing up on ITB (mostly)
im not sure whether you make different types of tracks with
one way or the other though, hah like who cares man just
make some fuckin tracks!!!!

i kinda gotta new layer 2 sqpusher stuff when i found out he
was an "extremely talented" maths person who dumped it and
went to art college (prestigious) and then dumped that to
make tunes (!!!)

some of the prog-drill on ultravisitor is fookin blistering,
it kind of straddles the line between amazing and
self-parody

yeah, he has a good job, he is like Mr Spock though money,
wanting stuff is like an alien concept to him, he is really
amazingly generous though, couldn't wish for a better
brother, he does operate on a different plain mentally
though so its quite hard to have a conversation with him

mind war electro is unreal, i have to say my fave album is
still probably the first couple. I can't quibble with him
doing what he wants, i just prefer his older stuff quite a
bit, but he was younger then and thats what he was into at
the time
