Worst year in my memory? Yeah. Worst year ever? Good lord, no. There was the year an ~80km asteroid hit the Yucatán. I reckon that was a pretty bad year. |

i've seen worse personally, but i understand that collectivly wasn't the best experience ever yeah, completely, very much. 2014 my life collapsed, 2017 my dad died and i collapsed, then my life re-collaposed, and there are other years that have been just as shit further in the past. this year, well, april until current, things have been kinda shit, but it's started to get a bit better. and i think that is worth hanging on to -- we have three months left, racial relations in the US have been getting more serious discussion than they have in decades, it is theoretically possible trump could be voted out of office, etc. and let's just cross our fingers and hope it will settle out a bit further before we write the whole year off |
