thats the fragile,

the new "still" cd that came with the special edition of and
"all that could have been" is awesome so wouldnt say that
nin were better before.

opinions on the Fragile ard divided though, personally i
think its one of his best.

My favorite is Pretty Hate Machine, as a record. I've been
a long-time nails fan. My favorite tracks would be:
terrible lie; something I can never have; wish; happiness in
slavery; piggy; the becoming; even deeper; underneath it
all; the perfect drug.

i'm a huge nin fan, they're my fav band, and always will be.
I keep learning things about them that show some really bad
things, but the music is to good.

My fav cd is the downard spirial, fav track is the becoming,
other greats are: that's what i get, head like a hole, sin,
happiness in slavery, last, broken, ruiner, closer, mr. self
destruct, we're in this together, star fuckers inc. where is
everybody? the wretched....

there's probably more, but yeah, the fragile is a decent
abulm. i perfer the downard spiral over it though.

Further Down The Spiral isn't great, imo. The aphex twin
track is really good, but the rest of the album is just
kinda boring....

i sugest you go and get either the downard spiral or the

some of the perfect drug remixes too.

my favorite song ever (all artists) is ruiner... 2nd is the
becoming... 3rd has been gave up for a long time :)

i have pretty hate machine, broken, fixed, the downward
spiral, the fragile and and all that could have been (deluxe
edition) so far, my favourite is the fragile, 2nd being the
downward spiral...

I listened to The Downward Spiral in it's entirety on my
walk this morning, for the first time in a long time. It
still gives me goosebumps. A Warm Place and The Becoming are
my favorite tracks on it. However today I found myself
really digging 'Piggy' way more than usual. That's a song I
used to skip a lot.

the version of 'piggy' in and all that could have been is
excellent... better than the original, i love the way they
improved it... (they also improved the mark has been made,
the last part...)

"wish"
"march of the pigs"
"big man with a gun" (that shit is so funny)
"a warm place" (which Radiohead re-did as Treefingers)
"into the void"

broken - all of it

got this 7" w/ "physical" and "suck" on it. also got this
one-sided 7" w/ "wish (radio edit)" on there.

i think trent was trying to be too much like aphex twin on
"things falling apart," and that lst starfuckers remix is
way to aphex like...it reminded me to much of the vox in
windowlicker meets nin programmer charlie clouser....

they're not ALL live backstage or in the studio, just TDTWWA
(Q101 performance), the fragile (backstage rehearsal), the
becoming and SICNH (studio). the rest are new songs and were
recorded as such. AATCHB was originally a leftover from the
fragile sessions that trent completed by adding vocals,
lyrics, and a couple new parts. one of the instrumentals is
a sequel to la mer. the rest just don't seem like "jams" to
me at all.

and i meant dan nakumara :) that'd sound cool. i'm sure dan
told you that trent was supposed to be involved on a song on
the "the good, the bad and the ugly" project dan was working
on with prince paul and mike simpson (which never came out).
also involved were beck, dave grohl, de la soul, and some
others.

i thought that the aatchb cd is simply the live tracks...but
i don't have it, so i don't know for sure...but i've heard
these tracks live off of bootleg time and time again.

and i have still in mp3's...and it just sounds like they all
sat sournd in the studio, and just jammed them all
out...including the extra little "lost fragile" tracks...
