So, did he sample "Commander Keen" in CIRCLONT6A (@ 2:00) ?

That staccato chord progression that comes in during the
last quarter of CIRCLONT6A is my favourite bit of the album
at the moment.

I'm in the middle of my first listen through now. My
immediate impression is that the first 4 tracks are pretty
awesome. The rest will probably need more listens. There's
definitely lots of weirdness here but he hasn't forgotten
this is music, and so there is plenty of nice melody here as
well. I think this is an album I will love once I really
penetrate it more, just seems to have great grooves and cool
synth lines.

I'd had a few listens on a fine pair of headphones, and then
earphones. But vinyl arrived last night and playing it on
the speakers is a whole different dimension. Trippin balls

The best new music I'm hearing lately is on Soundcloud and
Bandcamp, not on established labels. Thanks for the link,
this one is really interesting.

You know what I like about it. I like synthesizers.
Especially the ones that go "vyrrrrr oooosssshh wyrr wyrrrr
ooooshh." Also, I like one of the times you hear a high hat
go "tchk!" My least favorite part however is the part were
another high hat goes "tchk!" FUck that part.

I dont care what anyone says. I love this album!! it is all
I have been listening to and is stuck in my head when I am
not. All i cared about this passed week was listening to
this over and over again. Such a nice reminder of why I love
aphex twin so much and why I got his symbol inked onto my
back in 1998.

Reminds me of Karsten Pflum, that kind of thing is what I
think the braindance/IDM label actually legitimately applies
to

i think its an excellent album as only aphex can do,
even if it sound all like unfinished songs (for aphex
standards)
as the ambients just change with almost no building.

but i love the rudeness of it,
like ok ive got all this places the tune can go,
why just choose and elaborate in a few ones,
when i can just drop them all.
its like a dozen tunes in every tune.
