Today I started to dowload some tracks and check some
discogs. I had a nostalgic mood from about ten years ago...

I've got a CD of the 90 album (that came out in surprise
surpise 1990) and that's got some decent tunes on it...nice
intelligent acid...& the Gorgeous CD which is from a lot
later (not so good to my mind...early 808state is the
best..)

And yeah, Gerald was in 808 State but split just before they
hit big with Pacific State (which he mostly,if not entierly.
wrote anyway)....Their early stuff is better than their more
recent stuff I think...QUADRASTATE, 90, EX:EL are pretty
cool albums...

Have you tried SOULSEEK.ORG?...

I've got 90 and EX:EL on vinyl ex:el is on a double album
too (nice) got lot's of 7" and 12" too, Oops with bjork sing
on it to name onem, Classic.

The original 'Pacific State' on Warlock was far better than
the popped up version Massey did. I think it was Martin
Price who had a big hand in their early sound, he used to
manage EasternBloc a cool record shop in Manchester etc.

newbuild is class. and the a guy called gerald stuff around
88-89 is also very good
check out the peel session he did around 88 and the remix of
hypnotised by cabaret voltaire. my fav track is rhapsody in
acid from the original voodoo ray ep. has anyone got this on
mp3?
