After reading this, I am CONVINCED that Kid Rock does not
know his head from his ass, let alone good
music....Especially his own....

Kid Rock Says Radiohead's OK For Computers, Not Parties
Thu Mar 28,10:57 AM ET

(3/28/02, 12 p.m. ET) -- Radiohead is one of the most
critically acclaimed modern rock bands of the decade, but
don't count rap-rocker Kid Rock as a fan. The "American Bad
Ass" recently told LAUNCH that he doesn't understand all the
fuss about the veteran British band.

Rock explained, "I mean, I'm sure nice guys, and we could
probably have a beer and have a great time hanging out, but
I don't just don't like the music," he said. "I do not get
it at all. I haven't given a lot of it a chance. It might be
ignorant on my part, but for the most part I've seen a few
live things and heard some records. If I'm having a party
and I've got some chicks over hanging out, and all my boys
are hanging out, I'm not grabbing for the Radiohead CD. Flat
out, it's not gonna happen. If I'm in the office with all my
computer buddies and we're trying to design a website, I
might put on Radiohead."

Meanwhile, Kid Rock continues on his Cocky world tour. He
and his Twisted Brown Trucker band hit the Municipal Arena
in Kansas City tonight (March 28). Radiohead has some dates
in Portugal and Spain lined up for July and August, and is
reportedly working on some more rock-oriented material that
might better suit Kid Rock's future parties.

to be honest, and I hate to say this but I whole-heartedly
agree with the trailer trash king. it makes perfect sense,
some music is just created for certain moods. if I was
playin radiohead at my house with chicks over it's gonna
turn into a mindphuck session instead of a "phuck" session,
ya know wha i mean man

hehhe.....kid rock is an interesting fellow. when he first
popped on the scene i really hated him and his pimping
persona....but i've seen him interviewed and i dunno....he's
a funny guy...not as trailer trashy as i thought. i'm not
saying he's a RAD dude tho

he is WAY off with his assessment of Radiohead, perhaps his
taste is not refined enough....Radiohead's music can kick
'kid rock's' ASS

bawitabah....ehehhehe =0)

Kid rock is disgusting, he's always looks strung out, real
skinny and bags under his eyes. Hes just another dumb
rockstar that caught a break and is now wasting his money on
coke, he feed his midget to much coke and the little guy
croaked.

" If I'm in the office with all my computer buddies and

note; TRYING to design a website. I'm amazed that inbred
hick understands how to use a mic, let alone a PC. He's so
dim in interviews and I don't understand why he's so highly
rated. Oh and Pamela Anderson is well past it IMO. Bad waste
of potential coke money there kid rock...

i really hate the image that is kid rock, but i dont
understand why him saying he dislikes radiohead's music
makes him an asshole or whatever. it's not like he said he
hated the musicians, or that their music wasnt good or that
his music is better. he just said "I do not get
it at all. I haven't given a lot of it a chance. " it's an
acceptable statement, is it not?

i still hate him though...

come on now, just because he doesn't like Ok Computer
doesn't make him ignorant... I hate his music, but I still
think that it's uncalled for to call him ignorant because of
that...

ok ok, time for me to wiegh in here on this one: kid

blunt i know but i'm not in the mood to jibber jabber right
now especially about kid rock and radiohead it drains me
just to even mention them two in the same fuckin' sentence.

Everyone who listenes to quality music wants to trash this
guy, but I agree with LeCoeur, he's funny. He represents
the superficial perfectly and he just rolls in that stink
like no one else. It's like he's just processing the shit
for us, letin people who need to indulge in that crao and
get it out of their system. He does understand and knows
exactly what he's talking about. The reasons he listens to
music are different from someone who listens to Radiohead
and so just doesn't enjoy it. Anyone read the Onion article
a while back about how Kid Rock died from starvation after
losing all his sales because of Napster? That was some
funny raw shit.
