The Pirate Robot remix isn't a fan mix, they have a
publisher and charge $4000 a remix. I contacted them and was
talking to the guy. Very nice people, but most defiantly
established musician. He said "I live off my music, it's a
full time job."

I'm just saying this cause Trent was like "Yeah I let a fan
on the album" ...

yeah, i was skeptical about the whole fan remix thing...
could tell straight away that it was the work of a
proffessional... not some nin-worshipping failure like
myself!

Less concerned about fitting into the world
Your world that is
Cause it doesn't really matter anymore
(no it doesn't really matter anymore)
No it doesn't really matter anymore
None of this really matters anymore

Sales seem to matter though.

what? to trent? i think he's in a position to not really
care about sales for the reason you imply anymore

me...

awesome

tbh, i never really pinned you as a NIN listener...but then
again you couldn't really escape the video for Only on the
likes of MTV2, so you could still not be a listener

compared to treznor even thom yorke sounds only mildly
pathetic. which is quite an accomplishment.

i think the otherwise. thom keeps moaning while trent keeps
screaming. i prefer the latter !

both have great voices for there respective music imo, i've
always loved the way you can hear clearly almost every word
he sings, even live

you mean thom or trent ? trent's voice is much stronger imo,
and he uses it a bit more creatively = whispering,
screaming, reciting lyrics....i played the latest radiohead
album and had to turn it off after track 2 or 3 cause there
was still yorke's moaning over quite good tracks....annoying
enough

no you're thinking of the as yet unreleased DVD of Closure

which will more likely never get released now he's gone
indie

haha, my posts sucked there, the yearzeroremixed cd comes
witha limited dvd inside, the special ones, and it itsn your
normal dvd stuff, its the tracks so you can remix them and
have fun with them at your will

yeah the dvd closure would be nice, havent watched the vhs
in awhile

oh yeah i know about the Year Zero tracks being laid out in
multitrack on the extra DVD. i think more artists should do
it, i think it's a great idea.

but i was just being facetious regarding the whole Closure
thing. i still haven't seen any of it because i'm in
England, and we never got a VHS release of it :(

as much as i dislike cover/remix projects and compilations,
i enjoy this one. interesting versions, a few more
interesting than originals - e.g. Capital G version. The
first part of the compilation has much more energy than the
whole y0 album, which is good

never got the vhs release of it, crapsicles mahn
if my format worked overthere id let you borrow it

since we all hate oscilik, ill have to throw it in, since
its a crap day out

I thought i heard that trent just has another release (the
remix) and a best of (hahahah im getting old) and he is done
with his contract with Interscope.
