anyone listening to this stuff? sort of dark speed-garagey four-to-the-floor bounce running about 140 - there's some cack out there but a lot of stuff worth checking. got that warping wobble bass all over the place, seems to be pretty much replacing grime in a lot of places up north as well... lot of producers and mcs crossing over. the "hard4" stuff seems to be more like what morph and narrows were doing a few years back, very similar really but i've yet to hear a vocal track, more stripped down... check out rekless, ej, wittyboy, dj q, paleface, mr v (aka virgo when he's doing grime stuff - "puzzle" is amazing), subzero, jtj productions, wideboys, agent x and sticky's newer stuff, morph and narrows are still at it, etc etc etc. i think t2 - heartbroken made number 1 over here, deffo at the cheesier end of things (still like it though) so, yeh. anyone? recommends? bleh? pff? |
