By wiki you mean wikipedia? I just saw a tedtalk with the founder Jimmy Wales: It's a cool humanitarian thing. Google is a better 'wikipedia', but wikipedia has some good unique qualities like making basic information easy to find without a ton of redundant results/spam to wade through in google. Makes you wonder how an enormous mutual collaberation model can be used to build other great things very quickly. |
