 | i'm afraid my friend Ronan lost the usb stick, but he'd already taken photos of another, totally black one...
Personally I prefer his old multicoloured one (pity there
are no photos of it), but anyhow, here are some photos of
 the black usb key:

 | I love it.. that thing is absolutely great. Tell your friend to start a company that sells these on the internet. I'd pay
 $50 for one, easily.

 | as much as he wants, really.. I mean, what happened was that the casing broke off his usb key, and so he needed a way of
keeping it safe from further destruction.

He's considering the idea of going into business making
them.. I imagine there might be a difficulty since Lego is
highly copyrighted, he couldn't use Lego in the name, and
perhaps couldn't use it to build them, unless he had some
sort of special agreement with them.

But yeah, you're right Zephyr, that's exactly what I told
 him.

 | ah, yeah, good point - lego is highly copyrighted. Perhaps he could sell the idea to them and bank on the royalties?

 | Slick. As to selling them, I think he should be okay, so long as he doesn't try branding it as "Lego USB Memory" or
anything like that. Have a look at what Wayfar did with the
MidiNes (which uses original NES cartridges).
