lol "soon we'll have smart mirrors that predict your
reflection" hahaah

if you had two mirrors that could predict your reflection -
and you placed them in front of one another - wouldn't you
be causing an infinitely recursive predicted image? my mind
just exploded

yeah thats how you'd do it - have it do billions of
calculations on the most minute of occurences in the
landscape (what the mirror is seeing), for exmaple shifts in
weight, movements, light changes, etc.

then put it in front of another one. the two mirrors will be
constantly 'predicting' eachother, and what you'll see is...
i dont know

Maybe you'd see some monstrous super-evolved version of a
human, or perhaps your own death?

actually infinite recursion would just mean infinite
prediction error in this case if there was any error at all
- also its circular reasoning to say "predicting a
prediction" isnt it

if you had enough normal mirrors would you be able to make a
visual delay unit with adjustable feedback?

what about if you could take one of yr eyeballs out and
looked into your other eyeball with it, would you get some
brain feedback loop going?

I think I'd be more concerned about having just taken one of
my eyes out.

if you can control the number of reflections somehow, i
think so. im trying to visualize it and its difficult

me a 'prick'.
