imho, jesus warned about all institutional attempts to assume representation of his teachings. these warnings, which are part of the texts found at nag hammadi, egypt, were excised from all conventional bibles (including those used by the catholic church and all so-called orthodox churches and good old jack chick). satan makes a perfect scapegoat, though, a mythical beast responsible for all of our sins. although i can't find the pornography chick tract, here's my favorite quote: at one point, a teenager enraptured with pornographic images exclaims "if porn is wrong, i don't want to be right!" classic chick! |
