peole often mistake my quietness for being mean or being angry. i wish they would understand that i'm not like that. i'm just a quiet and shy natured person. the other day i was at the library and some girls came up to me and started talking to me (meaning they approached me and i mumbled a few words before i had to go). they told my sister the next day about how they thought i was good looking and what not, but that i was an asshole. apparently people who don't like to talk are assholes in their minds. now i have a reason to be an asshole though to them because they automatically made an assumption about me that wasn't true. also, if i haven't said a word to someone, how can they possible know what i'm like? just because i have a reason to be mean though, i'm not going to be mean. chalk up another reason for me to distance myself more from people and watch girls get more confusing to me. |

Dude, if you think you have problems there are drugs available for social anxiety disorder. I'd say drugs are a last resort, you should try hanging out in places where you feel comfortable. |

Everyone assumes I'm an asshole, I can't understand why... actually... maybe I AM a bit of an asshole, considering I consider everyone around me to be a stupid tool... hmm... nah, they ARE stupid tools. i agree, fuck pharmaceutical companies, every misunderstanding/undesired feeling has become a disorder of some sort or another how about a pill that cures my thinking that many aspects of society are fucked on some elemental levels? |

I had a friend who was getting pretty suicidal and finally went to see a doctor who prescribed some stuff. I think it helped him get over the hump and he's been ok since (and off the drugs). Like I said, it's a last resort, but saying "drugs are for pussies" is pretty close-minded. |

Actually, that was kind of close minded... I guess I have a habit of grouping all drugs into the acid/heroin/cocaine illegal group... there's some rather helpful drugs out there... still, I'd rather not need drugs of ANY sort. |

Agreed, anyone who thinks you are an asshole just because you are a thoughtful, intelligent person frankly arn't worth the trouble....they are the ones with social problems i.e they couldn't survive without the group mentality guides them at every turn... As I've got older I'd discovered that all those people who made me feel bad at scholl or where ever have ended up being mindless almost-robots... Embrace yourself and get on with what you are as a person... fuck em...my friend; Life is hard enough already... |
