justice - phantom pts 1 & 2
mr oizo - patrick122
klaxons - gravitys rainbow (van she remix)
klaxons - atlantis to interzone/magick (can't decide
between those two)

hey, i just got the run jeremy remix a couple of weeks ago,
so i'm late but it's 2007 so let me say...it's good. best
windowlicker of 2007.

also, the panda bear album is great.

and the animal collective album is great.

if you're into reggae, there's a new reissue of "king tubby
meets the aggrovators at dub station" that came out this
summer that is absolutely fantastic, great intro to sweet
dub reggae vibrations, with many bonus tracks.

don't know if anyone knows them, but tokyo police club has a
7" out called "your english is good" and it's great.

most of the other stuff i've gotten this year is old...

I d/l the remix, thought it was weak, otherwise I would have
bought the 12"

also i discovered an eod track on my comp that apparently i
forgot about called "fungus" and it's funny and great.

how about "ted" by clark. did that come out this year?
freaking masterpiece...

there were two of them, and one was better than the other.
i think my expectations were low so i was surprised that it
was good. to each their own...

be honest, you're just flogging it cuz that's you in the

i like the fall, i like mouse on mars, but that's a steaming

d1 or c2, c2 as in when its not fucking with your thought
process, but comes together nicely at the end - looking
forward to this. all samples sound great.

forgot to mention!!

softlightes-"say no to being cool say yes to being happy"

since you've probably not heard them, it's a bit like death
cab for cutie with better/less-cheesily-anthemic tunes and
more tweaked eccentric production, give a copy to your
sweetheart

budos band-"II"

instrumental afro-funk that absolutely kills

the field-"from here we go sublime"

love it or hate it, it's mostly great

I concur The Field and Susumu Hirasawa ought to be there...
but it's a shame picking just one song! Let's try anyway...

Actually this year has been good for me and music!

* The Field - Good Things End
* Susumu Hirasawa - Byakkoya (actually '06 but Europe '07)
* Manu Chao - Politik Kills
* ¤C-ute - Sakura Chirari
* Blond Redhead - 23
* Underworld - Best Mamgu Ever
* Battles - Atlas
* Megadeth - Tout Le Monde (2007 version)
* Partial Arts - Trauermusik (technically '06, but this year
released on Total 8 compilation!)
* Björk - Wanderlust
* Venetian Snares - Husikam Rave Dojo
* Paul Hartnoll - Haven't We Met Before
* David Lynch - Woods Variation
* Plaid - White's Dream

...

also it's scary how many songs, how many artists there are
that I've never ever heard... my god, the beauty of
obscurity! I don't even know where to look for some of
these...
