 | the russian thing seemed pretty retarded. my favourite things were the Sigmar Polke paintings, David
Atmejd's canadian pavilion (present surprise to dig on my
countryman's stuff), the Sol LeWitt wall drawings, the
Gerhard Richter stuff, the notes for a film thing on Wael
Zuaiter, the slide show about how nothing happened at NASCAD
(there you go, two canadian things, even), and the Bruce
 Nauman sculptures were pretty funny...

unfortunately i only got to do the gardens and not the other
main pavilion... nor did i get to see any of the cool
lookin' outside works like the Joseph Kosuth piece or Tsai
 Ming Liang's film...

 a very good time though.

 | the Russian work, i thought it was entertaining... the Polke paintings were extraordinary... probably my favorite
as well... i expected more from Altmejd's work... did you
see Yves Netzhammer's video at the Swiss pavillon? really
liked this one... despite or because of the cheesy animation
and symbolics.... and Bill Viola's tryptichon Ocean Without
 a Shore....
