 | Hey the other day I got dinged for being online to much. We got this software called "st bernard" and it sees how long I
 am online for.

You guys know of a way to get around this? I was thinking of
leaving my computer on at home and using remote access to
 surf via my home pc.

 But that's kind of a hassel ...

 | Cite my network question thread as an example of zilty being necessary for asking work-related questions. You know, a
sort of music-themed Experts Exchange. :D

 | 1: What is your job? 2: Why does your boss check how long you're online for?
3: Is it legal for him to do so where you are?

 | I'm a computer technician for a huge medical company. I have to use remote access to dial into big machines and fix em
using common pc fixing techniques and minor SQL.

They monitor us because I think they want to know that I'm
 working.

And I think it is legal ...

I think if I set up a remote computer to surf for me it will
 be better ...
