Hello. Last night I met a strange creature on the bus. I'm 99% sure it was human, but I was unable to see if it was man or woman. This made me wonder. If you see a person like this commit a crime, how can you describe it in a non-racual and not sexist way? Like if you see a black man do something criminal you cannot tell the police it was a negroman, you instead say it was a man of african origin. If you see a mentally disabeled do crime, you don't tell police it was a mongoman, instead you say it was a man of retardic origin. But what if the person on the bus did something? What would be correct? Man-woman, woman-man? A person of LaToya Jackson origin? I don't think metrosexual will be right in this case. Please discuss and help me.

Yeah, I had a taxi driver like that before. It reminded me of "Bab's Cabs" from the League of Gentlemen and I kept tittering throughout the journey.

i remember one year at school, i couldn't tell whether one of the other pupils was a boy or a girl... it took me months to find out that she was a she.

But you have to give accurate description! "Mr police, a person did it!"
It's not good enough!

The police actually have 5 (it might be 7, I can't remember) possible choices for "gender" in records. Lord knows what they all are...

Yes that's right, there are 5 main types of gender used in police reports.
They are: Male Female Male to female transsexual Female to male transsexual Hermaphrodite
