I just listened to a BBC radio 4 program about the history
of techno / Detriot techno.
If you're interested, it's on the BBC listen again service
here. i think it stays on there for a week, so
don't miss out.
Had an interview with Kevin Saunderson. I enjoyed listening,
hopefully you will too.

Juan Atkins anyway

I don't know how the others contributed. Didn't Saunderson
come like 7 years after Atkins had already released a record
with Cybotron.

A really good listen. Thanks very much for hosting it
futureimage as I couldn't listen to it from the original
site.

thanks for the mention. although it's a bit all over the
place - covering the uk rave scene, for instance - it's an
interesting listen nevertheless.

Yeah that's what I thought, bit odd to mention musique
concrete and Kraftwerk right at the end if that was
inspiration for techno...

the music running in the background was odd in a couple of
places as well. thinking back, the music rarely fitted the
content of what was actually being talked about. did i hear
cj bolland during kevin's interview? doubleUteeeefff
there's nothing wrong with cj, but at-least play some more
of kevin's output - besides "good life" - while you're
having him speak. sjeesj

Yeah I heard quite a lot of random electro. I'd rather have
it than techno, but still kinda missing the point a little.
