 | It's so sad that James Stinson passed away and come to think of it J Dilla--maybe great artists don't live so long but
 burn really brightly. I just can't get over the atmospheres
 of the tracks, makes me think of the sea and galaxies at the

 | The Other People Place is my fav work by Stinson, but I do enjoy most of the Drexciya releases.
 
 Not really melodically (apart from digital tsunami which has
 a fabulous melody/groove) but more for the raw energy and
 atmosphere he generated.
 
 I must confess, I prefer Gerald Donalds work a lot more.

 | i knew dopplereffekt for ages but only discovered drexciya recently. the quest (2cd) as a compilation must be their
 best record. even if james stinson had his very specific
 style/talent (techno/funk) that is lost forever, his partner
 arpanet wont give up, so we should get more drexciyan tracks
