Yea, only a few mildly funny bits. I thought they'd just stick with just 'star wars' related material...so it got kinda sickening when they started the typical random family guy bullshit (interjecting too many unrelated references). And why not cover the 3 good episodes of star wars instead of just pt 4. It did really seem like a robot chicken rip off in ways (and i know the same people work together...but really) That musical number was painful to watch as well Man the first 2 seasons were entertaining..but since the show came back it hasn't been all i was hoping. Remember when Stewie was evil?...hell bent on killing his mother and inventing whichever device needed to do the task? only to be dumbed down to a pop culture spewing, wise cracking, gay infant? and the whole political thing is really done poorly too. Obvious jokes you can see coming from 200 miles away. the only thing that kind of makes it worth wild is that its on Fox the Dubya approved network. *i just read that they're going to address the south park episode making fun of family guy now....a year and some change later. |

Only a few funny bits, WTF? I pretty much laughed my ass off the whole hour. Thats why I recorded it cause I figrure I would miss some of it. Like Family Guy is pretty funny, at times rotf funny, and star wars is epic, put the two together = magick And it says in the tv schedule thingy that it was called "Blue Harvest" Part 1 of 2. Check back next Sunday also. |
