Anybody gave a listen to it yet? What do you think about
it?

The Orb haven't released anything of value since U.F.Orb for
me. In fact, everything i've heard since has been very bad.

Seems like I'm about to enjoy The Orb again. It seems that
they are going back to their roots with The Dream, which I
quite like!

never was a fan of orb. liked some umtza-umtza tracks from
the previous album on kompakt. and some tracks on that album
with toxygene.

cydonia rocked imo, this sounds like a tropical cydonia to
me

Hmmm, I think that pomme fritz and orbus terraum are awesome
albums. Not been so excited by anything since those.

finally someone who agrees with me! i has been validated!

hey, orblivion had a handful of decent tracks.

but "valley" and "plateau" are masterpieces of engineering.

it's like watching someone juggling a bowling ball, skink, a
kitchen sink, an overripe gourd, a photograph of a
photograph of rdj's left nut, and a pickaxe sprinkled with
powdered sugar while smoking a spliff and excitedly shaking
hands with lee perry's second cousin twice removed. it's
that good.

The orb were a phenomena . the only thing missing from the
orb at present is the vital component qwissy weston. ( he
is most certainly in the all time magical sound designer
rainbow:)

Never got totally into them, they're alright, not bad, but
nothing to shout about.

Not many other people here really liked Orblivion (the album
with Toxygene, Matvey)? I actually liked that one quite a
bit... but yea.. I also didn't care a whole lot for any of
the releases after that one. However, I'll probably still
check this one out. I quite enjoy most of The Orb's older
work, and I still hope for another great album... even if
it's not likely to happen.

Ultraverse was great in its time.

Not really digging this new one. Maybe I've moved on.

Quite liking the beauty of Flying Saucer Attack - New lands.
It's like being beaten to death by a handful of daisies at
high volume.

it's very conventional. and too many voice samples as well.

it's surely not their best. it has it's good moments, but
DDD and Mother Nature spoil it, very weak tracks. i enjoy
Cydonia, Bicycles and Okie Dokie but this one lacks
something. i'll listen again in a while, but for now i'm
kind of disappointed

I think its not better or worse than Cydonia for one
example. I like the Dream a lot, and do not compare to other
works of Orb. I don't think that they could repeat the
success of Little Fluffy Clouds or Blue Room, and probably
they don't even want to.

Yeah there are some cheezy points, but I like them too :-)

they died years ago

quoting Cydonia means that the album is almost a shit
